Record from and manage up to eight cameras with the Performance Series 8-Channel 2MP HQA DVR from Honeywell at resolutions up to 1920 x 1080. With 2TB of HDD storage preinstalled, the recorder can support two HDDs, up to 6TB each, for a maximum internal capacity of 12TB. The recorder supports up to eight HD-CVI, AHD, HD-TVI, or SD analog cameras via its BNC interface. Up to four additional channels support IP cameras. With the help of H.264+ and H.264 compression, file sizes are kept manageable while recording and playback quality are maintained.

The DVR's interface includes RCA ports for two-way audio communication, as well as HDMI and VGA connections for video output with support for dual streaming to maximize bandwidth efficiency. Also featured are USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 ports, as well as a RS-485 serial port for remote PTZ camera control.
